Why I like to workout: I have trained in a Gym since I was 19 years old as I was quite slim at a bodyweight of only 67kg at 5 feet 8 inches(174cm) tall. I have always enjoyed the feeling of strength, power, being able to transform my body, the endorphin and adrenalin release, the clear head and feeling of well being that working out in a Gym can offer you.

Why I like to compete: The old adage "look good, feel good, am good" has always rung true with me and competing regularly has been a great lifestyle choice enabling me to feel vibrant and focused all year round as well as being able to meet lots of like minded positive people that do not accept mediocrity and are always striving to better themselves. I have competed all around Australia and have had the priviledge of acquiring invaluable knowlegde from many fellow competitors at State, National and International level.

Who got me started: My Dad was a former Mr North East Britain from 1958 and he really inspired me to work very hard to earn a bodybuilder's physique. I used to love looking at his old bodybuilding photographs and reading his old Ironman magazines. I always admired the old legends like Frank Zane, Arnold Schwartzsnegger, Tom Platz, Dorian Yates, Sergio Olivia, etc. My father wrote my first programme and got me started back in 1983 at good old Rockingham Health Academy in WA.

Future Goals: To continue competing for as long as my body allows me to.
                        Compete in more International Competitions.
Continuing to promote our sport and be as good as an ambassador as possible for Natural Bodybuilding.
Try to inspire others to better themselves and be the best they can be.
Pass on my knowledge wherever possible to help others achieve their ideal body goals.

Sample Offseason Diet: Meal 1    1 cup rolled oats, chopped pear & kiwi fruit, 2 scoops of ON Vanilla Whey Gold protein powder...combine to make an awesome pudding like porridge.
