Sydney Championships May 20th being held at Marconi Club

Just a reminder that this year the Sydney Championships being held this weekend on the 20th May 2012 will be held at the Marconi Plaza, Prairie Vale Road, Bossley Park NSW 2176.

General Admission Tickets will be available at the door.

Pre-judging starts at 10am with the finals at 4pm.

With the second ANB State Championships in two weeks time we have the official running order now updated on our Sydney Page here. Please remember this is a guide only as it is a competition the schedule may run slightly different on the day. We advise that you invite your friends and family to attend and enjoy the whole day supporting all the athletes and amazing sponsors that have registered for this great event!

Strike A Pose with Tiger G a success!

It was especially good for competitor Sue, who had travelled from Newcastle especially for the seminar. New to the Figure game, Tiger was able to give her some great posing advice and really helped build her presence. Vicky, a competitor from Sydney, spent some well received time with Barbara and impressed her with her posing ability.

With competition season well under way and just 5 weeks away to the upcoming Natural Mania Physique Championships being held May 26^th in Victoria this show is shaping up to be another great event!

I wanted to remind you of our Early Bird registration offer. Competitors if you register for this competition prior to April 26^th 2012 you will automatically go in the draw for a chance to win $250. The competition is shaping up to be another great ANB event. Last year we had 57 competitors and we are expecting approximately the same number of competitors so your odds are great to start your comp day with $250 which will be drawn at the competitors brief.

Sasho Ognenovski is the new owner of Leisuredome gym

I recently took over Leisuredome Gym in the suburb of Beverly Hills in Sydney. The gym is well known in the bodybuilding and fitness community for producing a great number of Natural champions over the years. For the record, the last 10 years alone the gym has produced four ANB Sydney overall champions, as well as many National and International champions. My aim is to continue that tradition on an even higher scale.

Our employees are all ANB champion competitors themselves. Paula Ponce, Joseph Schifilliti, Mario De Vega and others have all won some prestigious ANB titles and are always there to help our clients reach their personal goals.

With the HIGHS of feeling amazing, fitting into your smallest pair of jeans, tanning up, strutting in front of an audience & being around some amazing people - to the week post competition of holding water, regaining weight, fitting into stretchy pants only, feeling tired and weak & scrubbing off tan that just won’t budge. Not very glamorous!

Many athletes have written post comp articles - all you need to know is to BE SMART! Do not put your value of being a good person on a trophy or a title. If you did your best, BE PROUD! If you could have improved in areas - you have LEARNT. Take these things away from what you just did and move on.
