ANB Member sits on top of the world

I created this system due to the overwhelming requests for my advice on how to gain weight, lose weight, eat better, and bodybuilding contest preparation. Most of the requests have been from beginners. They want to know how to lose weight, get six-pack abs, and transform their bodies and improve their self-esteem.

In my fitness industry career, I have met the top bodybuilders and figure competitors in the world. I have photographed, interviewed, trained with, and gone to dinner with some of the best minds in physique transformation. Whenever we go out in public, however, inevitably someone who has never trained with weights comes up to us and asks us basic questions about how to lose weight, get leaner, or get rid of body fat from specific areas of the body. Read how it's done here!

ANB Athlete Naomi Gibbins selected as Role Model

Naomi Gibbins
ANB Athlete Naomi Gibbins was selected by NRL football player, Joe Williams, to be one of the elite athlete role models as part of the ARMTour (Athletes as Role Models). Naomi will join other NRL players, Olympians and other elite level athletes for one week in the Australian desert where they will educate and inspire Indigenous youth to make healthier lifestyle choices.

Since 1997, ARMTour role models have reached more than 6,000 young people in 11 communities in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, East Arnhem Region, and the Tiwi Islands. Thanks to these elite athletes, attendance has increased in schools, more youth are participating in sports and overall lifestyle choices have improved.

"I am truly honoured and extremely excited to be given this opportunity by NASCA www.nasca.com.au to act as a role model for young children and provide valuable education and nurturing to make a difference. I am looking forward to this experience which I am certain this will be life changing for me and our team as well. I look forward to sharing with you my stories and photographs on my return"

Naomi leaves for Alice Springs on Sunday 27th July.

Michelle Goodall - speaks about ASN

Michelle Goodall
Matthew Simon (Sales Manager) for ASN rang me on Tuesday 21/7/08 and discussed with me an offer of a sponsorship. I am the sort of person that is not easily impressed, but I was very impressed with the conversation.

Matthew explained the whole process with me, explained the products that he feels I should be on, but not only that, is he gave me the reasons for his suggestions. That to me was brilliant. It is very hard to get a proper explanation of supplements and the reason why they work. I also felt instantly at ease with the friendliness and professionalism I received.

I am also impressed with the specialized service I will receive with ASN. It means a great deal to me to get advice that I can trust.

I feel the partnership between ASN and myself is going to be very successful. It has already started with a great bang. Visit the ASN super website at: www.australiansportsnutrition.com.au/

Michelle Goodall - cracks ASN sponsorship

Michelle Goodall
Canada was the most amazing experience. To be with the people that made up the team, was simply the best.

I have come back from this competition with a new appreciation of how shows are run here in Australia. The shows here are run with a professionalism that I did not see over in Canada. I am not saying that Canada was run poorly, but in my opinion, it was not the same standard as here. But there are a couple great things that were done in Canada that are not done here.

The first one was that both Female and Male Bodybuilding went out on stage together in the evening to do an individual favorite pose. That to me was brilliant. To stand up there with Murray and Ryan was an absolute hoot!!! I would never have got this chance before and I had a ball. To be honest, it made not just myself, but all the female bodybuilders feel respected and that we were an important part of the show, not just a side division. The only other time I have felt that way is when I compete for ANB Australia. Read more here!

Stefanie Williams - Here’s my take on the World Championships

Stefanie Williams
Well is all started for me on Wednesday the 11th June setting off for the airport excited, prepared and ready for the Worlds. With far too much luggage and all my food prepared for the flight I was over prepared and ready for the worst to happen. I was traveling with my boyfriend Campbell who is also dieting so you could imagine all the food we had to take between us. The flight attendants were trying to work out what we did as we were eating every two hours and I was going to the toilet every 5 minutes. Eventually the penny dropped on about the 15th litre of water they kindly filled up for me. Fortunately throughout all my travels we did not have one hiccup.

After a 24-hour flight to Toronto we arrived safe and sound about 4 days out from competition day. I was lucky enough to find a hotel that actually shopped for us and placed the food in our room for our arrival, which made things very easy I must say. Staying in Toronto was beautiful and everyone was so helpful. We had a 24-hour supermarket around the corner and shopped daily at the fresh markets about a 10-minute walk away. I had an absolute ball, love it.

Mr. Sydney Champion Profile Online
Scott Tomsett Scott Tomsett says, "Since I was older enough to walk I have been into sports if I wasn’t running around playing something I got bored very quickly. My first sport was probably the same as everybody else, little Athletics and I had a go at everything from Long distance running, sprints, high jump, long jump, shot put and many more but I took a liking to long distance running. As I got older I used to focus on cross country running and soccer and I was fortunate enough to represent my state every year through primary school and high school for cross country running, I even won the Jervis Bay fun run when I was 14 years old which was a big thing for a 14 year old kid. Soccer was also something I enjoyed the only problem with all these sports was that it kept me very thin being so active all the time." Read the full profile and see images click here.
