ANB Workshops
Hi Maria,
Thanks for running the workshop on Saturday, I really got a lot out of it.
Meeting all the presenters was wonderful as I've not had a lot of exposure to people in the industry yet, which has made obtaining information a little difficult.
Neville was the highlight for me. He and his lovely wife Mandy were fantastic, and their honesty and openness gave me so much information that I just didn't have prior to the Worksop. To understand just how seriously Neville takes his judging role, and his appreciation of all the hard work women, not just men do in this field was a real inspiration.
I do quite often get the feeling people in general do not appreciate just how much effort is going into my training, they think I'm just a gym bunny, not realising I struggle with my weight and work my behind off every single day, so seeing that all the people there understand that battle, and hard work made me feel like I was joining part of a community that bands together.
Lindy is just beautiful, previously just a face in the magazines, it was so nice to meet her and realise she is a very hard worker, balancing work, home life and training, just like everyone else, all the same time as being a down to earth genuinely nice, open, helpful person.
All the other people were wonderful as well. I must admit I went straight home to practice my posing so I dint forget all of what Karen showed me, It was fun and hard work as expected.
Anyway thanks again for a great day.
I am also hoping you can send me a list of a few posing coaches that I can get some help from. It would be helpful if they were in the Western suburbs, but a few other names would also be appreciated if there are not many over my way.

Thank you for your update emails and for making me as part of the mailing list; I do enjoy receiving them!
This email today prompted me to write to you and thank you for the Get the Edge workshop last weekend – I had the time of my life!! Myself and my friend walked away buzzing out of our brain – we were so motivated and wanted to compete then and there!!
It was AMAZING to meet Lindy in the flesh; she has an amazing aura that is so infectious. And to be in the room with so many other’s who live and breathe the sport was something I’ve never been exposed to but loved every minute of it. You did a wonderful job of putting it all together and keeping the flow of the day moving. Anyway, I just wasn’t sure if you here this a lot but it was really a life changing moment for me (I know this sounds corny but it really is how I feel). Originally when I decided to go I was unsure how I’d feel about it, competing was only something I was vaguely thinking of, however now I am confident that this is what I want to persue for the long term.
